I am always drawn to paintings that evoke a sense of emotion, place. In my paintings, I focus on how I see and how I feel about the world surround me. By working impressionistically, my paintings highlight the natural beauty of this world through color, emotion, to create a connection between humankind and nature, to give the viewer a sense of serene tranquility of my vision. I enjoy plein air or on location painting when the weather permits, but also do a lot of studio paintings where I can work on a more planned genre. I love both landscape and figure paintings or the combination of both.
